So granted, he's as beautiful as you can get.  In case you don't know, I'm talking about Elefant's lead singer Diego Garcia.  Last night's concert at Bowery along with The National and Benzos was everything I expected it to be:  rock starish lighting, passionate singing, super trendy audience, cigarette breaks, and more hair flicks and slicks than I've ever seen.  There I was, front Row, rocking out with Ryan and a handful of other cool elefans.  Just a background, Diego is known for his fetish for models as well as blowjobs in the bathroom.  Basically, he's everything you expect from a model turned rock star.  The fact that he was an Econ major at Brown made me realize he did have more than 2 brain cells though.  Anyway, in the beginning I refused to make eye contact with him during the concert even though the girl next to me touched his pant leg and it was obvious to me, as well as him that every girl would easily be his Annie/Ester.  After awhile, I looked up at him and shivered every time his beautiful Argentnian eyes looked down.   Anyway, his voice was incredible with his husky Argentinian accent  and I could smell his beautiful cologne.  All of us girls in the front were dancing/rocking out like crazy.  When they came out for the encore with Sunlight Makes me Paranoid, I was up in the air:  arms in the air dancing while he's singing the last lines "When I come down...When I come down" and he looks down at me dancing to the title track.  He takes the mic out of his hand and places in my hand and they end.  All the girls around me are giggling like crazy in a 4th grade type of way like, "omg he gave you his mic omg", some hoping to touch the mic in my hand that is the closest thing to his mouth that you can get unless you're a South African Model.  I looked at Ryan with amazement and bewilderment:  What the hell am I supposed to do with this mic?  After holding on to it for what seems like an eternity, I put it down on the stage and turn around to a crowd of elefans looking at me.  I didn't know exactly what to think but I guess...I don't know.  Anyway, the guitarist and drummer were really cool and apparantly, they don't know where New Haven is.  Also, they're playing Coachella.  I mean, No fair!  all the bands I wanna see and guess where it's being held?  In California.  Also, I saw Jasper Coolidge next to me who has this awesome site with the best concert photos I've ever seen. A more surprising appearance was Matt Pinfield in the audience because as I put it, "Does he still exist?" One of the fellow girls next to me apparantly took a trippy picture of me which I'll hopefully post as soon as I get it.  Sigh.  I swore I would stop going to concerts for awhile.  Thanks a lot Elefant...I'm back in that loop again.

Pretty general site:  www.the-bens.com    It's Lee, Folds, and Kweller.  They toured Australia together earlier this year.  I personally would love to see them because they each do their stuff with the other two Bens on backgrounds.  They also have a four song EP that's coming out (I believe) on December 30th.  I've heard all 4 songs but I only have 2 of them.  Ben Lee told me they aren't planning on touring the US though.
